My wife and I spent many hours online looking through numerous OEB breeders trying to find a breeder that we thought was 1) doing it the right way and 2) had great looking dogs and puppies.  After a terrible experience with one particular breeder who backed out of the sale of an agreed upon puppy, we came across Allot of Bully and Dixie and Dixson Armstrong.  From the start, they were very helpful, very responsive and extremely nice.  They walked us through every step of the process and not once did we feel like they left us hanging.  We had our puppy shipped via United Pet Safe, and our puppy arrived safe and sound in a brand new carrier with plenty of food and water for the trip.  We are beyond thrilled with the puppy that we got from Allot of Bully.  His look is almost as impressive as his temperament, and we get A LOT of looks and comments about our little guy.  We would definitely buy from Allot of Bully again.

Dixie & Dixson,
Darcy was renamed Guido.  We cannot tell you just how much happiness this puppy has brought to our lives.  Our vet said he is one of the healthiest puppes he had ever seen and is very impressed with our little guy. Every time we take him into the vets, the workers or customers want to take a picture of him.
He is so calm, well behaved and gets along well with any dog.  We have a three year old male boxer.  They get along so well playing, wrestling and sleeping together.  Cooper, my boxer will even lay down next to Guido and share a bone with him.
Thank you, for raising such health, beautiful dogs!

Hi Dixie!
I just wanted to send a quick update on your itty bitty “Sweet Pea” (who we now call Henrietta, or Etta for short). I have been meaning to get in touch for a while now and I am finally doing it!

Etta is seriously the best thing to ever happen to me! I can not express how special she is! We moved to Washington, DC when I was done with school and have been here for a little over a year now. We live in a very dog friendly neighborhood and she absolutely loves it! Her best friend is a schnauzer (who would have thought!) that lives two doors down!

She is so well behaved and always impresses strangers with her special tricks. She ended up being 35 pounds and about 13in tall. Probably a little bigger than you thought, but the perfect size! She is the talk of the town – we can’t go ten feet without someone stopping to tell us what a beautiful, unique and sweet dog she is (seriously)!

Just wanted to send you some recent pictures and share our joy. We absolutely LOVE her 🙂

I hope you and your family are well!
All the best,

Hi Dixie I just wanted to give you an update on Maynard (previously know as Bradley). He is doing wonderful in his new home.  My 2 old bulldogs accepted him much better than I ever expected.  He has figured out the dog door & I think just likes to show off that fact by going back & forth thru it over and over.  Testicles still haven’t dropped yet, but I am still optimistic that they will.  He is an absolute joy of a puppy & the personality is–as I expected–a perfect match for the home.  He is a typical bully, always wanting to chew whatever is close.  Also, I suspect he will be very dominant so it is good that he starts puppy class on Saturday.  I cannot thank you enough for providing me with this absolute joy of pup!  Here is a picture of him with his new family:  the one in the foreground is my 12-year old Olde English & the one in the back is the 14-year old American.

Lucy (aka Britt) is doing really well.  We are loving her!  Training is going pretty smoothly too.  We were just cleared by the vet yesterday to begin with a formal trainer.

My husband is trying to train her to swim to the stairs of our pool just in case she every falls in.  We have a fence up but we’re rather she know what to do just in case. I was just wondering if you can tell me if either Maddy or Rockafella were swimmers?  Lucy isn’t a fan of water so I’m hoping that will dissuade her in the meantime.

I also wanted to let you know we were going through your youtube channel on our tv the other day so the kids could see her when she was a pup.  She was ignoring the tv & chewing on her antler. That was until she heard  you whistle.  Then she sat up at attention & ran around the house while you were talking on the video.  She definitely remembers home. 🙂

Anyway just wanted to let you know how happy we are with her & to pass on that.

Sincerely,

Barbara & Al

Dixie,

We have had Rosco (formerly Tyrone) for about 4 months now. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell how great he has been! He was very easy to crate train and house break. He also has been doing great with general training, especially walking on the leash next to the stroller and coming when called. He is even good with our two girls.

Besides being a good dog, he is so good looking! Our Vet called him a “specimen” and asked if we are going to show him. A lady at the dog park said that if she were a dog, she’d want to date him! We are constantly stopped with questions about his breed and his color.

Overall, we have been extremely happy with Rosco. We also very much appreciated your answering our questions and giving solid advice during the first few weeks of having him.

I can’t recommend you and your puppies more highly and wish you continued success.

Thank you,

Ryan

Good morning Dixie…..well it has been a pretty exciting couple of weeks……where to begin…..Ozzy is a super smart little boy…. he is doing real good on the house training…..Ive been sleeping downstairs just so its easier to get to the back door and he will even wake me up in the middle of the night if he needs to go……he knows where everything is…….food, water, his toys…he has become very familiar with the routine around here……he is also doing good on the crate/playpen training…..so i have a playyard set up for him when he is here around the daycare kids….because of the puppy teeth…..they may pet him….but not play with him and his toys as of yet….because he dont really know better…..but the kids help put food and water in his bowl…….he has already met the vet dr. mike due to a wasp sting he got on his right chest on one of his potty adventures in the backyard, next day pain was gone and bump was way down, day after that it was all better! He has an appointment on Tuesday for his shots and they told me to bring a poo-poo sample since he has had the dewormer.  I sent off for the certs and the chip registration for him the day after we got him home.  Heres some pics of the little boy….so you can see him!!!

So I took this video of Ebony(Asia) today while at work and thought you would find it as cute as I did so thought I would share.  She is getting so big, already 17.5 lbs, and is learning quickly.  She was playing with my coworkers daughter almost all day and this video turned out extra funny cause she put her bumm in the air and was kinda hopping along.  Sorry its a bit shaky I was laughing while filming it.
http://youtu.be/AEYzcApxVVg
Deana

She is doing really well.  We are working on the potty training and she is getting better and is sleeping most the way through the night already only usually waking up once or twice.   She is getting big fast as well, I weighed her on Sunday and she is already up to 13lbs.  Loves her food and trys to steal Dexter’s so working on her with that but is getting better.  The two of them are hilarious to watch play and she has no fear when it comes to anything inside our home be it jumping off the couch bed or harassing Dexter.  When we take her outside is another story as passing cars or odd noises will freak her and she will run back to our front door which she already knows where it is.  Not sure on the leash yet usually just sits down when we put it on her unless we have Dexter with us then sometimes we can get her to chase/follow him.  I took her in for her deworming a week ago which gave her the runs for a few days but her system is back to normal now.  Over all she is amazing and a sweet heart and I love cuddling with her except when she tries to sleep on my head lol.

Hi Dixie,

This email is long overdue!  I’ve been meaning to write you and let you know how well Josie has settled in.  Things are going very well.  Zippy is also doing great.  I’ve been involved in the dog show world for a long time now.  I’ve NEVER had such a positive experience in handling a “replacement” puppy.  I know that Zippy didn’t turn out exactly how either of us thought she would.  She may not be exactly “show quality,” but she is still a lovely pet and a valued family member.  I appreciate that you’ve gone above and beyond to give us, Josie, as a replacement puppy.  You definitely have delivered what you promised when we first started communicating!

Zippy is now spayed and enjoying being a valued family member.  Josie is being a spoiled family member as well.  I look forward to getting her out in the show ring soon!!!  She’s a beautiful girl and has a lot to offer the Bully world…

Thank you for such wonderful puppies… you’ve been a very honest person and truthfully, one of the easiest “breeders” that I’ve ever dealt with.  I’ve definitely passed your name along as a referral and will continue to do so.

I’ll keep in touch and hopefully be sending you a lot of wonderful show updates 🙂

Regards,

Dixiesorry i was not done writing the reference and accidently hit sent, so here is my final reference for your page.

final reference:

we have been searching for an Olde English Bulldog for about 2yrs. now, and it was not until we moved to Boise a yr. ago that we started researching
and came across Dixie’s website (alotofbully.com). We knew about all of the complications and problems that regular English bulldogs always have so you can only imagine
our excitement when we came across your website and these beautifully healthy Olde English Bulldogs that you produce.
We have really been enjoying Co Co since the minute that we brought her home and our 3yr. old daughter Nevaeh introduces her to everyone as her little sister.
We can already see the bond that these two will have as they grow up together, they spent their first day running around all day after each other and playing.
We are very happy to say that she is a part of our family, and are very happy that we came across your website! Co Co is a great looking pup she has great conformation,
and a lot of wrinkles, is very bully, and has a great personality. We could not be happier. Dixie you where incredibly helpful by giving us helpful tips on how to maintain and
raise Co Co, it gives us peace of mind having met you in person, and to actually know that we can call you anytime whenever we have questions about her in the future.
thank you for offering your assistance to us at anytime, and for being so helpful.

thank you,

Isaac, Janette, & Nevaeh

Subject: Wilbur is home!
Hi Dixie!
Just wanted to let you know that Wilbur arrived safely and we are beyond the moon in love with him!  He is so sweet and charming and the girls were so surprised.  They couldn’t believe that he was THEIR puppy.  This is them picking him up from the airport.  We will send another picture of him when he’s settled at home.
One question, when is his birthday?
Thanks so much for everything!
Terina

As a Breeder of another dog breed I went out searching for a Bully puppy
for my Boyfriend’s Birthday.  It took me almost two weeks off/on researching
the Olde English Bulldogs and looking at what it out there for sale until I
came across Dixie’s Site of Allot of Bully.
First of all I was impressed with all the great
information on their site and the quality.  Look how happy all their dogs are!!
We now have our little girl home and I would not hesitate to purchase
another bulldog from
Dixie.  So I highly recommend her babies…. Candy and Jim from Az.

We got her late Friday night around 11p. Yesterday was really the first day to spend any time with her. She’s doing great!   She’s very playful and chewing on EVERYTHING !!!!!!!  We bought her some toys but she seems to like toes and legs better. (lol). My son and husband haven’t seen her yet bc they are out of town. They will be home today. We will send u some pics!

Subject: DEMPSEY

Hi Dixie and Mike:

Dempsey (Lariat) is doing very well adjusting to his new home.  His house breaking is coming right along too.

We were able to get Dempsey in to see our veterinarian, Dr. Carol Ekland, for his new puppy checkup the same day we picked Dempsey up at your home.  Dr. Ekland said to compliment you on the health of the puppy.  She loved his markings and color and said, “He’s a keeper!”

Dr. Ekland is pretty much retired.  I think I mentioned she owned Pets First Animal Clinic in Boise, but she sold the clinic to Dr. McGowan (spelling? ).  Dr. McGowan is very good too.  I think he does quite a bit of orthopedic surgery work with dogs.

Dr. Ekland only works every other week and I think just part-time for a couple of days, so we were glad she could see Dempsey so quickly.  We have known Dr. Ekland since she graduated from Veterinary Medicine School!

We will send you some pictures of Dempsey as he grows up.

Best regards,

Budd and Bev Kendrick

Hello,
He is wonderful. He is everything I had hoped for in a bulldogger, and more. He goes on hikes with me, and enjoys every minute of it. No breathing problems, and its always him waiting for me to catch up to him on the hikes. He is well behaved, and loves to please. He is muscling up right nice, his muscles are like coiled springs. He still has a little of the puppy clumsiness, but is getting more agile as he matures. I call him Gunny, Gun, or The Gunmiester. I simply love him. I will try and take some pictures this weekend.

Hey Dixie

Big  Petey is doing great!  Great looking dogge!  He thinks he owns the place but my lab quickly puts him in his place!  He bullies my little dog, I think he thinks hes still small!!  Hes about 45 lbs and 14-15 in at front shoulders.  He has a great disposition and no furniture destroyed YET!!  These pics were taken around 10 June.  Will try and send you an update.
